AEXANDRIA UNIVERSITY (ALU)

AEXANDRIA UNIVERSITY (ALU) is a public university in Egypt. It was established in 1938. It is now the second largest university in Egypt and has many affiliations to various universities for ongoing research.

The Faculty of Engineering at Alexandria University, Egypt offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in 15 majors of Engineering. It is Alexandria's main Engineering faculty and Egypt's second, built in 1942. It enrolls more than 15,000 students and graduates over 3,000 yearly. The faculty includes several departments: Engineering Mathematics, Architecture, Structural, Irrigation and Hydraulics, Transportation, Sanitary, Mechanical, Textile, Production, Marine and Naval Architecture, Electrical, Computer And Systems, Nuclear And Radiation, Chemical Engineering. Transportation department includes five fields: Transportation Planning & Traffic Engineering; Surveying Engineering; Highway Engineering; Harbor & Coastal Engineering; Railway Engineering.
